That's right! It's-a mah birthday! I'm two niner. Enjoying my last year in my 20's. They've been good to me. We've been through a lot together. Good times...great times... Graduated college, got married, had kids...I'M NOT READY TO GIVE THEM UP!! NOOOO...weeeeeep. Despair. Denial. Quiet. Okay, I'm done. I can handle 29. Bring it.
Here's a picture of me from a couple years back.
Mom recorded the first things Dad said after we were all born.
For Sara: "Is she normal?"
Well, we're still debating that.
For me: "She looks like Sara."
More like a Sara upgrade.
For Noah: "He's not as cute as the girls were."
This is still true.
We didn't get to see Peter when he was a baby, but I'm sure he was cute, covered in muscles, had 5% body fat and a thick, Bulgarian accent.
For my birthday, I've decided what I want...from you guys. I want you to tell me what you want to read on this blog. What are your favorite types of posts? Pictures, stories of life, childhood stories, sewing advice (I'm pretty sure you're not gonna want that), random information? I want to know what you want to read.
Oh, and thank you so much for your sweet comments on the pictures the other day! Those kids love to have their picture taken. And Jocelyn, I'll totally do that! Warning, I'm not super technical, but I'll tell you what I can! :) And Katy, I've still got to do that post you tagged me in! Get on it, Ruth!
Anyways. Y'all let me know what you want from Bogue & Weejer! Have a faaaabulous day!
I love all the pictures, and I love all the funny stories, and...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! (And, being 30 isn't so bad thank you very much ;) )
ReplyDeleteI love the stories. There is never a day when you post a story that I'm not rolling with laughter or totally engaged.
ReplyDeletePictures are good too :)
Happy birthday! Your stories are hilarious, your pictures of the girls are too cute... You are my lunchtime entertainment! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your stories. They crack me up. And of course I love the pics of the girls. Happy Birthday (and I'll second "the being 30 isn't so bad" comment).
ReplyDeleteI like 'em all! Pictures, stories of life, childhood stories, etc. One small thing I would love that doesn't need a whole post is the correct pronunciation of bogue and weejer. :D I never know if I am saying it correctly. I also really enjoyed your pregnancy stories so if you could go ahead and get pregnant with twins again that would be great. And happy birthday again!
ReplyDeleteSo, Ruth, don't be creeped out. I've never met you, but I've read your blog for a couple of years now. I was introduced to "the funniest blog ever" by my bro, who went out a few times with Sara. And this probably IS the funniest blog ever. You make me laugh. And if I lived in Bama, or if you lived in Virginny, we would be peeps.
ReplyDeletePretty much I laugh at whatever you write. Thanks for making my work day better. Because, yes, I check your blog every day from work. That's why they pay me the big bucks. Thanks for making my days bright. :) Oh, and Happy Birfday!
Loved hearing your sweet, little voice again Ruth. Whitney and I could sit and listen to you talk for hours.
ReplyDeleteYour accent is so precious!
stop trying to cover up the fact that i'm the favorite child
ReplyDeleteI love pictures with captions!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a post (or series of posts) about your work: what sparked your interest in photography and graphic design, what it's like to run your own business, tricks of the trade you've learned along the way. And keep those pictures coming -- your photographs are phenomenal.
